The University of Utah is currently enrolling pregnant women with antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) or systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) into a clinical trial. The goal of this clinical trial is to see if a medication called certolizumab will decrease fetal death or preterm birth due to preeclampsia or placental insufficiency in women with APS or SLE. Certolizumab does not cross the placenta and has been shown to be well-tolerated in pregnancy. More information can be found at: https://healthcare.utah.edu/clinicaltrials/trial.php?id=FP00007789
